Characters are of course the focus of my work. I try to give each of them distinguishing qualities and not fall into the same patterns or clichés one sees so much in digital painting. However I naturally tend to be a recidivist and my crimes are easily spotted … The hardest part is actually letting go of my habits when it comes to the actual painting workflow. This, unfortunately, can be quite limiting.
